The course, dedicated to Ottaviano Alberti, is open to all singers, instrumentist who are
interested in the repertoire of the XVI, XVII, XVIII and the beginning of the XIX century. The aim of this course is to study the executive techniques relative to each historical period. Students of different levels are welcome even if they do not have their own original instrument.

Lessons orchestra
Ensemble music laboratories will be organized at three different levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced. The elementary level course will focus on the Renaissance Repertoire (dances, grounds, songs) for different voices, duets, and trios of the early Seventeenth century. The intermediate level course will deal with the instrumental suite of “ Bourgeois Gentilhomme” and “Persče” by J.B. Lully . The advanced level course will concentrate on the solo repertoire of each specific instrument (sonatas, cantatas, trios).
During the organ lessons the following instrument will be used: the ancient Organ by Benvenuti /Densi (1582) in Orte Cathedral to study of composers such as Frescobaldi, Pasquini, Storace, Kerll,Muffat, Pachelbel, Haendel;
The teachers’ concert will be held on Saturday 29th at 7:00pm - Basilica Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, during the International Festival of Organ and Ancient Instruments – 8th Edition. On that day no lessons will be held.
The ensemble music student’s concert will be held on Sunday 30th at 4:00pm - Chiesa di San Francesco.
The courses will only be held if a minimum of five participants is enrolled.
